What does the Lifetime Warranty cover?
Every Benchmade knife is built to last, and we stand behind that promise with our limited lifetime warranty. If your knife experiences an issue due to a manufacturing defect, we’ll repair or replace it at no cost. Our goal is simple: keep your knife working for life.
The repair work is free in most cases. For service requests submitted through Benchmade.com, a $20 Service Kit fee covers secure packaging, fully insured shipping both ways, and real-time tracking updates.
How long does this process normally take
The total time varies based on shipping distance and how quickly you package and send your knife to us, once you receive your Service Kit. Most customers receive their knife back within 7–10 business days for LifeSharp and 9–12 business days for Warranty Service from the time they send it in.
How can I get my knife serviced for free?
Benchmade’s LifeSharp program provides free sharpening, cleaning, oiling, and adjustment for the lifetime of your knife. The service itself is always free.
Ways to Avoid the $20 Service Kit Fee
- Use an Authorized Dealer: Many Benchmade dealers can submit your knife on your behalf. When the request originates from a dealer, there are no shipping or material costs to you. Find a dealer near you.
